The material follows the shape of its mold and receives very fine details
Polypropylene is a very common waste in the industry and in the packaging world, yet, It can't be recycled and hard to reuse in new shapes.
In this project I trying to discover the way the material changes due to its reaction with Acetone - although very toxic, allows reshaping in compact forms.
The material copies its mold, to an extend, but what is most interesting is the fact that it could copy textures and patterns as well.
The new aesthetics looks a little like an archaeological finding that our generation might leave behind for future generations.
